Indoor Space Heater Market
Quantum communication researchers
Managing temperature in space is surprisingly difficult. In the vacuum of space, there is no air to conduct heat away. A spacecraft can be blisteringly hot on the side facing the sun and freezing cold on the dark side simultaneously. “Space heaters” in this context refer to the sophisticated thermal control systems used inside crewed habitats, landers, and rovers to keep electronics and astronauts within a narrow, comfortable temperature band. This includes resistive heaters, heat pipes, and pumped fluid loops.
What Numbro covers:
Thermal analysis for crewed modules in LEO and lunar surface environments (including the cold lunar night). Technology benchmarking of cabin air temperature control loops and water coolant loops. Design requirements for cabin fans and ventilation systems that operate silently and reliably in microgravity. Component level market for space qualified thermostats, heaters, and thermal switches. Relevance for India’s Gaganyaan crew module Environmental Control and Life Support System (ECLSS).
